Testimonials

Let me tell you something about Strider. He is the most perfect addition to this family. Even my daughter, which doesn't like big dogs at all and was terrified of him at first, totally loves him. After spending just 30 minutes with him, she wanted to take him home with her for a few days. My youngest son has requested visitation rights of every other weekend with him! Of course, I can't part with him for a minute. Even when I run to the store, I can't wait to get back home to him. The purchase of the crate was a total waste of money as it's been sitting in the other room unused and he doesn't even care about it. Just within the past few days, he's showed signs of a true dog and has wanted to play. He is a true lover and if he feels like he hasn't had enough (I can't imagine), he'll put his paw (or two) on you and lay his head down on you and look at you with those big brown eyes. He's such a sweetheart and totally perfect. We take walks every day, twice a day and walk 2-3 miles every day. He does a great job with the leash, although, if I try to take him for a walk without his choke collar and just his regular collar, he knows it and tries to misbehave, so we don't leave home without it. He knows when it's time to walk when I pick up the choke collar. You can also tell when he's stressed, because he sheds horribly. He's also a pig with his food...in the terms that he's messy! But, how can I complain with that being his only fault?
Thanks again for allowing me to bring him home. Words just can't describe how much we all love this new addition to our family. OH...by the way...have you heard anything out of Shooter? How is he doing? I wish I could have brought him home too, although, I'm glad I didn't. I love giving all my love to Strider. He deserves it!

Thanks again!

Well, I thought you might like an update! On the ride home Petie and Presley layed in the backseat and played with the same toy, then half way home Presley climbed into my lap and went to sleep as though she had known me forever. When we got home, Petie ran around like a little kid having a friend over for the first time showing her around and showing off. She gobbled up dinner and then slept in bed with me and my husband, under the covers and with her head on the pillow next to mine. This morning she and Petie were elated to see that the other was still here and immediately began to play. She gobbled up breakfast as the night before and then commenced playing again. They went upstairs with me to wake up the boys and she eagerly licked them both good morning. Petie taught her to use the doggie door, going in and out and then sticking his head or paw thru to show her that she could come thru too. I put her in the laundry room with the doggy door to outside and Petie inside so that she could have some time to explore without his constant pestering. My husband came home to check an hour later and let them play some more, then back to separate quarters. I came home 2 hours later and they are now back at the constant play. Presley is settling in wonderfully and listens to every command I give with eagerness to please. Thank you so much for helping us complete our family! She is awesome and a perfect match for Petie!
